About Us
CoroLab AI was born at the intersection of clinical cardiology and advanced Silicon Valley engineering. The platform was founded by Dr. Ahmed Jaafar, a cardiology resident with international clinical experience, who later transitioned to California to serve as a Lead Cardiology AI Specialist for some of the most prominent artificial intelligence companies in the United States.
The spark for CoroLab AI occurred early in Dr. Jaafar's career. In an exceptionally rare milestone for a first-year medical resident, he performed his very first coronary angiogram. While navigating the high-pressure environment of the catheterization lab, he quickly realized a critical bottleneck: the immense, life-saving time lost during manual, frame-by-frame image analysis and the coordination required with senior consultants to reach a definitive consensus. Guided by the belief that technology should work as fast as the clinicians operating it, he set out to build a solution.
Partnering with co-founder Fatma Jbili, an accomplished software engineer based in Paris, France, they combined clinical insight with global technical excellence. Built step-by-step with relentless enthusiasm, rigorous validation, and deep dedication, the duo turned a shared vision into a powerful reality.
Today, CoroLab AI operates as a California-based medical intelligence solution. Our high-precision AI models are deployed in hospitals worldwide, successfully eliminating workflow bottlenecks, cutting down diagnostic times, and helping interventional teams deliver optimal patient care when every second counts.
